How to Transfer a WordPress Blog From One Host to Another Part 4


It’s time to get the transfer started. Create a new blog with Fantastico adn upload your plugins and themes where they belong. Nothing too complicated again. You need to just get the core files installed and Fantastico it the method of choice.

If you don’t have Fantastico provided by your hosting company, it’s little more complicated task. It can be done, but I won’t get into that in this series. Later on that following introduction will be found from this site.

How to Transfer a WordPress Blog From One Host to Another Part 3


Now it’s time to get out your databases. It’s not too hard task and you should actually learn this…it’s the same way how you can backup your WordPress database.

The application what we are using is called PhpMyAdmin. It’s a tool provided by most of the hosting services. If you don’t have access to it, I recommend you to change your hosting service ASAP. It’s just too vital and too easy application to use.
